The Inclusive Learning Team
TILT Education is an Independent Special School dedicated to empowering young people aged 11-16 to overcome challenges that are making school life difficult.
We provide a warm and friendly learning environment where everyone works hard to meet their potential. We celebrate success, build confidence and nurture a culture where it’s ok to take chances and learn from our mistakes.
Our young people benefit from highly individualised support, with small group sizes typically consisting of four young people with two dedicated members of staff, ensuring personalised attention to each pupil’s unique needs.
Our vision is to create an inspiring, inclusive, and ambitious educational environment where every pupil is encouraged to explore their full potential, develop a passion for learning, and thrive both academically and personally.

Our Services

TILT Education adopts the hallmarks of what we feel contributes to an inclusive, accessible, engaging and dynamic curriculum, developing the whole persons knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes

The National Curriculum informs our planning, but we operate a predominately Functional Skills and Personal Development led curriculum. It has been developed to increase each student’s knowledge and skills across a broad range of subjects.

At TILT Education we strongly believe that enrichment activities can enhance pupils learning journey and support their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. They are integral to TILT Educations’ curriculum offer
CEOP is here to keep children safe from sexual abuse and grooming online. You can make a report directly to the CEOP Safety Centre by clicking on the Click CEOP button if something has happened online which has made you feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone you know in real life, or someone you have only ever met online.
CEOP take all reports seriously and we will do everything we can to keep you safe. As well as making a report to the CEOP Safety Centre, the CEOP Education website has information and advice to help you if something has happened to you online.
Are you being bullied?
CEOP are unable to respond to reports about bullying but if you’re being bullied and would like to talk to someone in confidence right now you can speak to Childline on 0800 1111 or talk to them online – no worry is too big or too small.
